Really happy with the NAM60. Very well built. Handles grass, brush, and saplings with ease. Perfect for maintaining trails and fields.

The NAM60 Flail Mower mowed down my 5 acre field of 3-4 ft weeds with ease! The biggest headache had nothing to do with the mower but with the quick hitch. I thought quick hitches would be standard ... nope! If buying a quick hitch, verify the width and category hooks. Surprisingly, there are quick hitches that fit category 1 tractors but the hooks are category 3 so you must buy adapters. My quick hitch was 30 inches wide (too big) so I bought an "Adjustable Lift Pin", "Quick Hitch Bushing Kit", and "Quick Hitch Adapter" for the top link. The quick hitch allowed me enough clearance so I didn't need to cut the PTO shaft. I got it all figured out and then let "Angry Bear" roar!

Good customer service. Takes a couple of days to get responses to questions about shipping timeline and updates. It also took a bit longer to leave their warehouse than I expected. I think 3 weeks. The unit its self is built like a tank. It mulches brush about 3" in diameter if you can get it to feed into the mower correctly and not just fold it over. Some times it takes a few passes for larger stuff. Still faster and less effort than a chainsaw. Grass and small brush is no problem for it. I am operating the mower with a JD 4300 30hp tractor. It does a nice job. very smooth and quiet unit. I have had a small leak on the unit since new. Drive shaft housing, belt side seal leak. It is a very slow leak, so not a deal breaker. I figure it is a compromised seal from the factory. I would buy this unit again.

Overall excellent product. Very well built at an excellent price. One drawback was difficulty in getting it hooked up, as the manual doesn’t provide much instruction on assembling the suspension bracket.

I ordered the Mech Maxx NAM 60 to take place of a 5 foot brush hog that I was not happy with cutting a 5 acre field. These are built very and make a great finished product, dispersing the mulchings evenly, and not spitting out a big clump, but be aware it is not John Deere imatch compatible, which isn’t a dealbreaker with me. Moving forward this will be the only tool that I use when cutting pastures or tall grass.

I was very skeptical to purchase this brand as I did not see too much information online. I was nervous about the brand and shipping hoping this wasn't a scam I was pleasantly surprised. I have now used the NAM60 4 times and it works flawlessly! It is a extremely well built machine and surpassed my expectations. The shipping was phenomenal and you can see the first picture showing the condition it arrived in, well done! I've used it on my John deer 2320 on overgrown fields and 1" diameter saplings. Two additional pictures show the before and after on the same field. Buy with confidence.

The PTO shaft snapped right into place. The belt drive is smooth, and you can tell the power transfer is efficient. No slipping even in the dense stuff.

This thing is a beast. I hooked it up to my 45 HP tractor and it cleared a field of waist-high weeds like it was nothing. The forged hammers really make a difference compared to standard blades.

Happy with how it performs This mower is a game changer for my property. It clears rough areas while leaving a neat finish that looks professional. The flail blades chop up grass and weeds into fine mulch, which saves me cleanup time.

This mower is built tough and feels like it will last for years. Attaching it to my 3-point hitch was simple, and the PTO drive runs smoothly every time. I use it on uneven terrain, and it still manages to deliver a nice, even finish.

Got the NAM60 about a month ago and have no issues. Arried about a week after order was placed. Did have to cut the PTO shaft down a little but that was expected (better too long than too short). The unit arrived in perfect condition with a metal crate. Have cut lots of grass and some brush. Small limbs/sticks are no problem for this mower (with hammer blades). Only owned it for a short time but so far so good. Great mower at a great cost.

Great mower for the money. With my 30HP tractor was able to cut down the pasture grass, tall stick weeds, and Washington black berries. After purchasing an adapter, I was able to connect the mower to my Kubota Quick-Hitch connection. Adding oil to the driveshaft and gearbox are well documented in directions. Only showing in half of the photos online there are multiple manufacturing assembly holes in the mower deck that had plastic plugs put in by the manufacture. Within 30-minutes of use about half of the plastic plugs popped out as seen in my photos. Overall, I would purchase again.

Flail mower Very cool machine

Hail to the flail… mower Received this piece of equipment as expected on time. Beautifully crated in steel angle iron. Filled the crankcase and driveshaft with gear oil as instructed and hooked it up. This thing is a beast! Took down acres of 5’ tall bushes, grass, vines and such w ease. It did use all of the 30 hp my tractor had tho. Very happy (so far) with its capabilities. Amazed that I can get a rugged piece of Chinese machinery delivered to my door, painted the right color for what I paid. I hope it lasts….

I placed my order in late spring of 2024. Quickly received feedback that the NAM60 was on backorder and I could either receive a refund or if I waited I would receive a small discount. I chose the discount and waited several months. Mechmaxx was quick to respond to my inquiries about my order. Once my order arrived in the states and cleared customs in October, I received shipping information including tracking information. The order arrived at my house within a few days. The mower was shipped in a metal "cage" that was shrink wrapped. Some shifting of the mower had occured, but no damage was observed. The metal "cage" was easily disassembled with a few wrenches - no cutting required. It took about an hour to assemble the 3 point assembly and add the proper fluids. The mower is structurally very solid with visually good welds. I have used the mower for clearing some vegetation including honeysuckle. Although I had to wait a long time for my order, I am overall very pleased with my purchase. The only negative I have found so far is that the mower is not quick hitch compatible. However, after some bolt on modifications I now use mine with a quick hitch. Looking forward to purchasing the Mechmaxx PTO stump grinder withy budget allows.

Smooth sale . Received in less than a week! So shipping is excellent Mower arrived before the extra parts I ordered. It was well packed and metal frame held in place during shipping. Easy to take out of frame and easy assemble with very few tools. I did have to shorten the driveshaft Took it on a short test drive as it turned blackberries into mulch. Because of weather haven't been able to use much however the test run went good Very satisfied so far.

Secure freight shipping with liftgate drop off onto the site for a great flail 5ft mower to clear the field of heavy brush... Was simply enough to get setup to tractor PTO and did an excellent job at cutting down overgrown grass. So far so good and at a fraction of the cost of those other tractor attachment dealers.

Shipping was fast comes in its own metal crate not a wooden pallet. Removed it and hooked it up to my tractor to get an driveshaft measurement. I had to shorten it 12�� but not a problem if you have the proper equipment. Added the gear oil in gearbox and drive tube. Finally I aligned it all up made a practice mow. Everything worked great and I am very happy with it. It appears to be well built and feel with the recommended maintenance it will last a long time.

If you��re on the fence about this mower, here��s your confirmation! This thing is a beast. For this price, you won��t find anything close. It pulverizes everything I��ve put it up against. Runs smooth. Very efficient! FYI I run this on a 2023 TYM 2515h tractor.

Great mower Arrived less than a week from placing order. Ran a few swipes and it did a great job. Cant wait until spring to use it!

I was amazed at how easy it was to mow even with PTO, it was incredible how low and clean it was after one mow. It's so satisfying to see how the overgrown grass can be trimmed beautifully and neatly.

It's very nice and built like a tank. The hose is quite long. Hooked it up to my tractor and the hydraulics hooked up just fine.

The powerful flail knives chew through dense brush and small trees pretty easily so clearing pathways and usable areas is quite easy. A must-have attachment for anyone dealing with overgrown properties. Comes assembled and ready to use.

I have mowed about 15 acres so far and it works and looks great, like it had been mowed with a rotary mower. Some heavy grass, brains and light brush. All with no trouble. Heavy and well built.
