“This mini excavator was a great investment hands down. Never operated an excavator before and only took me a few hours to get the hang of it. I have a total of 15 hours on the machine so far and haven’t had any issues. Just make sure to grease the fittings every now and then. The best thing is that it has Honda engine in it so you know it’s going to last forever. I planted 8 trees after getting this machine and saved my back from hours of digging. Definitely worth it the money since I will be using it a lot more in spring. Make sure to buy it ahead of time. I contemplated and it took me a little longer to get due to back order.”

“The mini excavator has been great! My Dad was needing something that could do the lifting for him. Also, he needed something so he wouldn’t need to use a shovel. This has worked great! We have used it to take out 4 cedar trees. We dig up the roots and took out the trees. The thumb allowed us to load the trailer without having to pick up the tree and limb pieces manually. Great packaging. We also got the accessories kit. The quick adapter is handy. We took the top off to fit in the garage. Very smooth hydraulic operation.”

“Efficient, quiet Honda power! Just add motor oil and gas, set the choke and start it up. Overall quality parts, good welds, greased fittings… shipped “tight and right” The canopy is metal, the hydraulic power is more than I expected from a “micro-excavator”. This and a compact tractor is the perfect combo for larger home properties and small farm use. This model has full rotation as well as boom swing, came with hyd thumb and third function valve.”

I ordered the 4 piece attachment set thinking I would need the ripper to break through the layer of clay but was able to go right through it with the bucket it came with. It is a very well built machine and worth every penny.”

“First off, I love my MEC10. I had to wait 7 weeks to get it. It is very well put together, I am surprised by the heavy stamped metal roof. I have 35 hours on it, so I have learned a lot. The “no oil in engine” tag was left in my engine compartment and may have caught fire if I did not fine it before using. I had a small hydraulic leak from the blade ram but I tightened the fitting and it stopped. The blade grease fittings were loose. The rubber floor matt wears out quick. I added a cooling fan to the front of the engine compartment because it gets extremely hot. So hot, that a stainless bottle in the cup holder gets almost too hot to hold. I would like to see the throttle levers taller and bent towards the driver, they destroy my back. A huge plus is the ram on top of the boom and not underneath, i would have destroyed a bottom mounted boom ram by now. I compare this unit to the rippa 10, but the mec10 quality is better. I can see where a thumb that folds completely out of the way would be a very nice thing. I didn’t think i would need expanding tracks but I do wish I had them. I purchased the peace of mind insurance but I think I wasted my money on it. The unit was crated well and is robust. I wish it had a tool basket on the front of the grab bar or a small tool box for wrenches and gloves and such. I have already lost the provided wrench i was using for the quick release. I zip tied a wire organizer to the grab bar. The quick release is easy, robust, and very nice to use. Go ahead and purchase a grease gun with a quick connection, the included gun is basic garbage. Immediately grease the carriage.I have purchased quite a few attachments, i think i use a 7” bucket and root ripper the most for digging stumps and moving brush and logs. The thumb is robust but bends easily, it needs a plate welded to it to prevent the thumbs from splaying. I don’t regret spending the money, it has paid for itself. I had my mec10 delivered to a local feed and seed store for free.”

“We received the Mini Excavator on time. Delivery was a small challenge in that the unit, as they disclose on website was too heavy for conventional liftgate delivery. ABF freight put the unit Ina flat bed with a skid steer and delivery was smooth. We added engine oil and Honda started immediately. We changed hydraulic fluid out of caution but think it was unnecessary, fluid that was drained looked good. We also purchased assortment of tools, augur and jack hammer. We’ve found the machine to work well. It operates much more smoothly than many of the Chinese excavators featured on YouTube. Obviously there’s a learning curve to operating an excavator but we are very satisfied with the machine. We’ve worked it hard the first five hours and it digs well.”

“This is a follow-up on the MEC10 after 20 hours of heavy use. To this point, it has outperformed my expectations by far. Pros: Fast hydraulics for digging, strong pushing with the dozer blade, everything works, it is cheaper than a tractor backhoe, and it is well-built. Cons: It tracks at 1.5mph, the metal around the seat base gets hot to the touch, and the canopy is too tall for a standard garage door. I cut my canopy down so it would go in the garage. I added a small fan under my seat to pull cool air into the engine compartment.”

“Extremely happy with this purchase. It took less than a week for shipping, and I picked it up from the transportation warehouse. They kept me updated during this time. After I've been using it for about a month now, I found that the excavator is very well balanced and solid in the one-ton category. It has a solid cast iron counter weight in the back to keep the machine more stable compared to some other one-ton excavators with hollow sheet metal. Other highlights of the excavator are built-in hydraulic thumb, armrests, spot light, etc. There're a couple of suggestions however I hope they can improve in the future. One is the quick attachment adaptor. The other one is throttle adjustment if it can be adjusted outside or auto adjustment even better.
