“I did upgrade to peace of mind delivery for an appointment and nobody called me to set up an appointment for me to be there to deliver it. The driver just called me while he was at my gate. Thankfully the delivery was still able to happen but that was not the service I paid extra for. Everything else is awesome. If you buy one check all the bolts and tighten them if needed because at least half the teeth were loose and broke on my first use because I didn’t think to check. It cost me a couple hundred dollars to replace the teeth but now that they are installed tight the machine works great”

Did a great job on a semi rotted hardwood stump then just absolutely melted an old pine stump. Looking forward to trying it on a big green oak stump. “Make sure to loosen up the pto clutch. There is chart supplied in directions HP vs adjustment, I’ll be loosening it more than it says to. I broke the pto drive on 1626 HST Mahindra. Was covered under 7 yr warranty!! Also adjust pro drop rate knob to SLOW, I dropped too aggressively and that is what killed the pto drive. My fault, just sharing my experience.”

“I've ground up four stumps so far, a one year old cedar stump about 10 inches dia., two walnut stumps (one about 10", the other about 18"), and a cherry tree stump about 20" in diameter. The stump grinder done a great job, it just takes a little trial and error to figure out your cut depth and speed. I'm using it with a John Deere 3032E and I had no problems, except some operator error. Plus, I'm in Ozarks dirt so you know I was hitting rocks. Still worked great. I didn't try to grind rocks with it, but as soon as I heard it scraping I would stop and dig the rock up if the grinder didn't do it first. Most of the time it kicks them out if they aren't huge. I'm pretty sure it will work even better if I replace my top link. Mine is froze up and the angle of the grinder is just a little off. I think if I leveled it up slightly it will grind even better. Anyway, it is definitely worth the money. It appears very well built, set up was easy and straight forward. The pto shaft was perfect, no trimming required. It took me about two hours to grind the four stumps mentioned. Keep in mind, it was my first time ever using a stump grinder of any kind, so I call that a win. Money well spent.”

“Placed order on a Friday and unit was delivered on the 2nd Monday. Pretty fast! Order process with rep on phone was quick and easy. Item was well packaged in a metal frame and arrived undamaged. The frame will be useful as a table or cabinet. Installed on JD 1025R and it works very well. Had to shorten PTO shaft but no big deal. Be sure to remove bolts on grinder end of PTO shaft before sliding onto grinder shaft. Instructions are not clear. Before this purchase, I was digging stumps out with backhoe. This was effective but time consuming and leaves a hole. The price of this unit was very attractive and made the decision easy. They even honored a price reduction that was offered 2 weeks after I ordered mine. Although they kept the sales tax on the price reduction. Looking forward to quick and complete tree removal going forward. Highly recommend.”

The grinder fell over in the trailer and the best he could do was push it to the back and onto my forks. Cost me $80 for nothing. Customer service won't respond to my request for refund on lift gate service.”

“I am a home owner not a business but between all my family we had about 20 stumps to grind they ranged from 10 dia to 42" dia. This worked much better and faster than I thought it was going to. I have a JD 3033R. The 42" black walnut stump was cut about 4"-5" above the ground It too about 35minutes to grind 4"-5" below the ground. I am very pleased.”

“The 3-point PTO stump grinder met my expectations. I'm using this with a JD2520 compact tractor and a quick connect on the 3 point. I did NOT have to shorten the shaft as a result. The clutch test failed the first time but that was likely on me for not loosening the associated bolts enough. I've only done 3 stumps thus far (old pine) but the implement worked flawlessly. Having another set of eyes to help line things up would make things more efficient. I've seen some post's where a rear view camera was utilized, food for thought. The product arrived on schedule (I needed the lift gate service) and was well protected. I would certainly recommend this stump grinder. The only limitation I see right now is the narrow straddle of the tractor but certainly not a fault of the grinder.”

“I have ground over 40 stumps with this and have only gotten one chipped carbide. That happened with the first few stumps. It must have been a bad piece of carbide. I have ground many stumps after that that have had some rocks mixed in with the clay and never chipped another tooth. Using a Ford 1600, 25hp (23 at PTO) w/ overrunning clutch. 9 speed transmission. I can't creep through so I skim it. It will get a 20" pine stump to 6" below grade in 15 or 20 minutes. That's roots and all. I did have to modify my left lower lift arm to add a sway link and a stiff tention spring to dampen the swings when the disk bites hard. Over all I am very happy with the purchase.”
